Supertrade offers a refreshing entry into the prop trading world, especially for those who want flexible rules and affordable challenge pricing. Traders can start small, enjoy unlimited time to pass, and hold positions over the weekend without worry. However, the firm does come with tight restrictions on trading behavior, and its instant funding option is quite expensive. While payouts are reliable, they are only available in crypto, which might not suit everyone. Overall, it’s a promising platform, but best suited for disciplined traders who don’t rely on aggressive or automated strategies.
| ✅ Pros | ❌ Cons |
|---|---|
| Low cost challenge starts at $24 | Instant funding can be a bit expensive for traders |
| No time limit on passing challenges | No scaling plan (yet) |
| Weekend and news trading allowed | Only crypto (USDC) withdrawals available |
| Trade multiple asset classes | Strict rules on strategy and EAs |
| Monthly payouts via crypto | Wider spreads, especially on crypto/indices |
If you are a trader who values freedom in trading style (but can follow the rules), Supertrade is a good place to explore. It’s affordable to try, and the rules are clear - just don’t cross the red lines. With more updates promised in the future, including MT5 support and a scaling plan, Supertrade might soon grow into a strong option among the top prop firms. But for now, it’s best suited for traders who are careful, consistent, and comfortable managing their risk without shortcuts.
Supertrade gives you two main ways to get funded:
Profit Targets:
Phase 1: 6%
Phase 2: 8%
Drawdown Limits:
Daily Loss Limit: 7%
Overall Loss Limit: 7%
Time Limit: No time pressure - trade at your own pace.
Leverage:
Forex: up to 1:200 (Phase 1/2), up to 1:100 (Funded Account)
Metals/Oil/Indices: up to 1:100 (Phase 1/2), up to 1:50 (Funded Account)
Crypto: up to 1:4 (Phase 1/2), up to 1:2 (Funded Account)
Minimum Trading Days: Just 1 per phase
Pricing starts from $24 for a $2.5K account and goes up to $599 for $100K.
Drawdown Limits:
Daily Loss Limit: 5%
But this comes at a cost. For example, a $100K account will set you back $7,999, and payouts are only available after proving your consistency.
Account sizes range from $500 to $100K.
Here’s where things get serious. Supertrade enforces strict trading rules, and traders need to be careful not to break them.
Supertrade is quite strict here and they actively monitor IP addresses and trading patterns. If anything looks off then your account might be flagged for review.
At the moment, there is no active scaling plan in place. But Supertrade has hinted that version 2 of their platform (expected late 2025) may introduce scaling options. So stay tuned and updated with The Trusted Prop reviews on your favorite prop firms!
Supertrade uses a mix of Day Entry Equity and Initial Balance to calculate drawdowns:
Daily Loss Rule: Your equity can’t drop more than 5% from the start of your trading day (UTC reset)
Overall Drawdown: Max 10% from the original balance
These rules reset every day and get recalculated after any withdrawal or revenue share.
There’s no time limit on either the challenge or funded phases, so you can trade stress free if you are managing risk properly.
While these spreads might be a bit higher than other firms, they are upfront about it.
Supertrade keeps things simple when it comes to payments and withdrawals. Whether you are signing up for a challenge or getting paid after hitting your targets - here’s how it all works.
To buy any Supertrade challenge - whether it's the 2 phase evaluation or the instant funding account then you will need to pay using cryptocurrency. Right now, Supertrade accepts payments only in USDC (USD Coin).
There are no options like debit/credit cards or PayPal at this time, so if you are new to crypto then you’ll need to set up a wallet and fund it with USDC before purchasing.
Once you pass your challenge and get funded, your profits are shared with you based on your account type:
Supertrade sends payouts once a month by default. However, they do mention that traders can unlock more frequent payouts using add-on features (details for that are expected to be released soon).
All payouts are also made in crypto (USDC) - straight to the wallet you provide. There are no bank wires or fiat payment options right now.
Supertrade isn’t available everywhere. Due to legal rules, financial regulations, or compliance issues, there are some countries where traders are not allowed to sign up or purchase a challenge.
If you are from any of the countries listed below, unfortunately, you won’t be able to join Supertrade for now:
If you are located in one of these regions then you won’t be able to purchase or access Supertrade’s prop firm programs at this time. Always double check with Supertrade's support for the most up to date availability.
Supertrade is still new in the prop firm world, but it’s already showing signs of serious potential. It offers a clean and simple experience no unnecessary complications, no tricky fine print. The pricing for their 2-phase challenges is affordable, especially for beginners who want to test the waters without spending a fortune. And for those who want to skip the challenge altogether, the instant funding option is right there though it’s quite expensive and better suited for experienced traders.
The trading rules are clear, and there’s no time pressure, which is a big plus for those who don’t want to rush. We also like that they allow weekend holding and news trading, something not every prop firm permits. But it’s worth repeating: their rules are strict. If you try to game the system with shady strategies or break the IP policy then you might lose your account. So, reading the rulebook is a must.
There is no scaling option yet, which might be a letdown for some traders who plan long term. But Supertrade says it’s coming soon - so we’ll wait and see how that develops.
Overall, if you are looking for a new prop firm with flexible evaluation, decent payout terms and global access (aside from the restricted countries) then Supertrade is worth a look. Just make sure you trade responsibly and follow the rules because here, the rules matter.
